About the Company / Business

Anne Collins creates one off, unique, functional fused and cast glass art for the home, garden and business.  Much of her work is bespoke.

 

Anne’s work is disparate.  She doesn't stick to one particular theme or style.  Anne has eclectic tastes; within her home, the clothes she wears, the music she listens to and especially within her fused and cast glass creations. Each fused and cast glass piece is lovingly created with passion and colour inspired by her home in the hills of Mid Wales, the land and seascape surrounding her holiday home in Estepona on the Costa del Sol, and her travels, Each piece of Anne’s work is so dissimilar because it is created with the colours and passion of the moment.  Anne also loves combining her fused and glass art with wood and metal, which creates highly distinctive pieces of art for the home and garden.

As Anne herself said; “I want to create work that will stand the test of time that people can still sit on, use and love in 100 years.  I enjoy cutting and assembling each piece of fused glass, not really knowing what the outcome will be until I open the kiln. I enjoy creating fused glass art that gives other people pleasure”.  

 

In her studio in Llanerfyl in Mid Wales Anne creates  custom glass art work, focusing on well designed, practical and useful works of glass art including; tiles, wall pieces, glass bowls, glass sinks, cabinet/glass doors, splash-backs, garden sculptures, furniture and windows , as well as fused glass jewellery.  

 

Each piece of fused and cast glass is individually designed; hand cut and sculpted using a variety of glasses to make each piece unique.   As well as glass, Anne also incorporates silver particles, copper foil, silver, gold & copper leaf and enamels within many of her creations.
