In May we are holding an event around the theme of Do It Digital.
Do It Digital is a not-for-profit campaign that will help small businesses get online or improve their existing capabilities, and realise the benefits of digital engagement.
The campaign kicked off on December 23 2015 with #100daysofdigital – 100 days showcasing organisations that offer useful tools, resources and advice both online and offline.
Do It Digital has a website where you can access lots of information. At our May meeting we’ll be discussing ways that you might get involved in the future we’ll have lots of bite-sized practical tips and hints to help you make the most of digital media opportunities.
Leading the session will be Caittom Publishing‘s Elaine Pritchard, one of the UK’s 15 Small Business Saturday Champions this year who helps businesses plan the best content they can create and share digitally to reach, engage and influence their customers. She will be joined by Tilley Brancroft of Red Door Studios who will talk about visual branding, the types of video content you can produce and how to distribute it.
All women who do full-time or part-time paid or voluntary work are welcome. Please use the link on this page to book, but you only need to pay on the night when you arrive at our venue, the Brewhouse Arts Centre, Burton-on-Trent. Parking is free after 6pm in the Sainsbury’s pay-and-display car park next to the Brewhouse. Bring business cards or flyers for anything you want to promote or share with the meeting. A free hot or cold drink from the Brewhouse bar is included in your admission price. Please meet upstairs to sign in and pay.
